Minutes of Re-Organization Meeting  -   May 19, 2009

The Municipal Clerk conducted the Sine Die portion of the Reorganization Meeting.

The Municipal Clerk read the following statement:  In compliance with the Open Public Meeting Act, Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, the notice requirements have been satisfied as to the time, place and date of holding said meeting by posting notice on the bulletin board in the Borough Hall and by mailing same to the Herald of Cape May County and The Press on November 5, 2008.

He next led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

The Municipal Clerk read the “official” statement of Election as follows:

GROON: 540 VOTES, GOULD: 544 VOTES, CABRERA: 499

Rabbi Jeffrey Lipschultz of Beth Judah Temple provided the invocation.

The Re-Organization meeting of the Board of Commissioners, Borough of Wildwood Crest, Cape May County , New Jersey , was held in the Crest Pier Recreation Center at 12:00 noon.  On roll call the following answered to their names:

Gould - Cabrera – Groon – Yes

Honorable Louis Belasco, Jr., Judge of the Municipal Court of the Borough of Wildwood Crest, then administered the oath of office to Carl H. Groon, Joyce P. Gould and Don Cabrera.

There were no public comments presented.

Mr. Groon, Mrs. Gould and Mr. Cabrera made comments, thanking their families, the residents and Borough staff for their support.

The benediction was provided by Reverend Tom Cura of the Lighthouse Church .

There being no further business, Mrs. Gould motioned, seconded by Mr. Cabrera, that the meeting be adjourned.
