Minutes of Commissioners Meeting - May 26, 2010
Prior to the opening of the meeting, Mrs. Gould led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. The
meeting of the Board of Commissioners, Borough of Wildwood Crest, Gould - Cabrera Yes Groon - Absent Mrs. Gould, Deputy Mayor, read the following statement: In compliance with the Open Public Meeting Act, Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, the notice requirements have been satisfied as to the time, place and date of holding said meeting by posting notice on the bulletin board in the Borough Hall and by mailing same to the Gazette-Leader, the Herald and The Press on October 23, 2009. Mrs. Gould next announced the one-way in and the one-way out method of ingress and egress in case of emergency. The Clerk advised those present that the hearing on the 2010 Municipal Budget of the borough of Wildwood Crest was held as advertised on May 12, 2010, but could not be adopted at that time as the DLGS had not reviewed the document due to an excessive workload. The Clerk further indicated that it had been placed on the record of the meeting of May 12, 2010 that the budget would be adopted at the next regularly scheduled Commission meeting, without further public hearing, unless the budget was to be amended. On the basis of the foregoing, and given the fact that no amendment to the 2010 Municipal Budget was being considered at this time, THE CLERK READ THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION IN FULL: RESOLUTION NO. 282-10 (Authorizing adoption of CY2010 Municipal Budget) Mr. Cabrera motioned, seconded by Mrs. Gould, that the foregoing Resolution be adopted. 975 ADOPTED APRIL 6, 2005 Mrs. Gould motioned, seconded by Mr. Cabrera, that Ordinance No. 1100 be passed on first reading, advertised according to law, be brought up for second and final reading and public hearing on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. Vote: Gould-Cabrera-Yes Groon-Absent THE CLERK READ THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION BY TITLE ONLY: RESOLUTION NO. 283-10 (Authorizing passage of a Chapter 159 Resolution, the specific item of revenue being requested for insertion into the 2010 Municipal Budget: Greater Wildwood tourism Improvement and Development Authority Grant for Summer Events in the amount of $38,500) Mr. Cabrera motioned, seconded by Mrs. Gould, that the foregoing Resolution be adopted. Vote: Gould-Cabrera-Yes Groon-Absent THE CLERK READ THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION BY TITLE ONLY: RESOLUTION NO. 286-10 (Authorizing issuance of a Special Events Permit to Nicole Cassell and Dustin Mulholland for the purpose of holding a wedding on June 11, 2010 at Sunset Lake Gazebo) Mrs. Gould motioned, seconded by Mr. Cabrera, that the foregoing Resolution be adopted. Vote: Gould-Cabrera-Yes Groon-Absent THE CLERK READ THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION BY TITLE ONLY: RESOLUTION NO. 291-10 (Authorizing support of and endorsement for the Wildwood Vision 2015 Plan) Mrs. Gould motioned, seconded by Mr. Cabrera, that the foregoing Resolution be adopted. Vote: Gould-Cabrera-Yes Groon-Absent Mrs. Gould motioned, seconded by Mr. Cabrera, that all bills properly authorized, as submitted and which appear in full below, be paid. Vote: Gould-Cabrera-Yes Groon-Absent Mrs. Gould motioned, seconded by Mr. Cabrera, that all reports received, from the Court Administrator, CFO, Tax Collector, Chief of Police and Recreation Supervisor for the month ending April 30, 2010 be accepted as presented and filed.
