Rinse cans and bottles.
Place cans and bottles in container labeled for can and bottle recycling.
(Labels available at Dept. of Public Works)
 
   

DO RECYCLE

Glass Bottles and Jars:  Green, Brown, and Clear
 
Aluminum Cans
 
Steel (tin) Cans (including empty aerosol cans)
 
Plastic Bottles: Food, Beverage, Soap, Detergent, Health &
Beauty Aid Bottles that have a "1" or "2" imprinted on the bottom.
  
 

DO NOT RECYCLE

DO NOT RECYCLE any can or bottle over 2-1/2 gallons
DO NOT include plastic bags or put cans and bottles in plastic bags.
